Common Questions
Can I combine the Solar Victoria rebate with the federal battery rebate?
Yes, on a new solar and battery system. The Solar Homes rebate of up to $1,400 comes off the panels if you're eligible, and the federal rebate comes off the battery.
Is solar worth it in Victoria's winter?
Winter days are shorter, so a Victorian system makes less in June than in summer. We size it over the whole year, and a battery helps you use more of what it makes.
I'm getting off gas. What should I plan for?
A heat pump, induction cooking and heat-pump hot water all add to your electricity use. Tell us what you're switching, and we'll size the solar and battery to cover it.
