Common Questions
Is there a battery rebate in the ACT?
The ACT's own rebate closed in 2023, but the federal rebate takes around 30% off an eligible battery, and the Sustainable Household Scheme can lend you the rest at 3%.
Can I use the Sustainable Household Scheme with the federal rebate?
Yes. The federal rebate comes off the price first, and the loan of $2,000 to $20,000 at 3% can cover what's left, repaid over up to 10 years.
How big a battery do I need for Canberra winters?
It depends on how you heat your home and when. We look at your bills across the year, including winter, and size the battery to your evenings.
